This short par 4 gives you a chance to start your round well, however trees either side of a narrow fairway and a large fairway bunker means an accurate first tee shot is required

The longer drivers of the ball can go for the green while an accurate tee shot short of the bunker is an ideal place to be for the mid-high handicapper

This par 5 plays longer than its yardage, trees hug both sides of the fairway all the way to the green and with 5 fairway bunkers and water just 150 yards from the green, accuracy and distance control are required on this one especially when playing into the 2 tier green

Watch out for the water when playing your second shot, lay up and your left with 180 yards into the green, get it over and you're rewarded with a short shot into the tricky green

A tight par 4 over water with 2 fairway bunkers and trees all up the hole. The green slopes from the right and back to front, leave yourself a downhill putt and 3 putts is on the cards

An accurate tee shot to the top of the hill leaves a straight forward pitch into the green, try and leave the ball below the hole though to leave an uphill putt

Out of bounds runs all the way down the left and a giant oak tree awaits you in the middle of the fairway, just the one bunker on this hole sits to the right of the green

Drive it to the right of the oak tree to leave a clear shot to the green, go too far right and you're in the trees, go straight at the tree and you'll have to shape your next shot in

A par 3 with 2 large greenside bunkers and a slopey green, the hole runs off to the right so anything played to run onto the green must be played down the left. Off the white tees it plays long as it's mostly into the wind or a crosswind at best. The yellow tees play off an elevated tee and are more manageable for every golfer

White tees - Most amateurs will need to pull out the driver or 3-wood but with out of bounds down the left i suggest playing sensible if you have a shot on the hole Yellow tees - Leaving an uphill putt is an advantage here as putting downhill especially in the summer months will require the best of touches

A mid-long par 4 that dog legs to the left, this hole is all about the tee shot. A good drive makes the hole that little easier but a large oak tree in the middle of the fairway, a hazard running across the fairway, out of bounds left & well positioned fairway bunkers are the reason this is stroke index 1.

Don't be too aggressive off the tee. Play within your capability, get a nett par and move on

A relatively straight forward par 5 off an elevated tee. Beware of the water just 200 yards from the green and out of bounds all the way down the left side

A tee shot level with the oak tree sets up a second shot over the water hazard and leaves a 3rd shot up the hill into the sloping green

The easiest of the par 5's, it dog legs to the left and has water short of the green. Again out of bounds runs down the left side of the hole

A tee shot in between the 2 fairway bunkers means you can be on the green in regulation, the longer hitters can get up in 2 but risking it brings the water into play

A mid length par 3 with out of bounds to the left, a large greenside bunker and a well positioned fairway bunker to the right await you

A straight par 4 that requires accuracy off the tee, a fairway bunker down the left and clusters of trees will gather your ball if not hit straight. The green has 2 tiers and anything slightly long falls off the back

Stroke index 6 so if you have a shot or 2 then use them wisely, the approach can be tricky to get close to the hole and an uphill putt is what you want

The shortest of the par 3's but with the trickiest of greens sloping from right to left towards the greenside bunker

A well hit tee shot will put you on the green but if you're the wrong side of the hole you are going to need the finest of touches. Try to leave yourself an uphill putt!!!

Our signature hole at the club - A dog leg to the left with water down both sides of the hole, out of bounds also to the left and your approach shot is over water to a tricky green

Leave the driver in the bag, the perfect tee shot is accurate and you want a full approach shot in to the green. Drive the ball too close to the water from the tee and you'll have a nervy 2nd shot

A short par 4 off the yellow tees and add another 50 yards on off the whites. There is water up the right hand side and a pot bunker to the right of the green waiting for you

The fairway slopes towards the water so a good tee shot up the left side of the fairway will leave a manageable approach shot in

When you approach the green you will want to leave yourself an uphill putt

A long par 5 with out of bounds down the left, there is water about 280 yards from the tee too. The green is a tricky one and if you're the wrong side of the hole you'll do well to 2 putt

Play the hole steady and not overly aggressive, be sure to leave an uphill putt when you approach the green

Stroke index 2 and it is clear to see why, this is the start of a very tough finish to your round. Water sits about 240 yards down the hill from the tee and the fairway slopes to the right towards the trees. This long par 4 requires an accurate tee shot to leave a blind second shot over water and up over the hill to the green

This one is again all about an accurate tee shot, slightly off line results in finding the trees or the water if hit too long. The big hitters can have a go at carrying the water but the wind is rarely in your favour

One of the more memorable holes on the course but not for those birdies. A long par 4 with a diamond of trees in the middle of 2 narrow fairways. The fairway slopes towards the greenside bunker to the right for your approach

A tee shot on the fairway will leave a long shot in to the green. Miss the fairway and you're coming out sideways

A long par 4 which is usually into the wind. Navigate past a well positioned tree to the left off the tee and expect the ball to be above or below your feet as it runs down into the dip. The approach goes straight back towards the clubhouse with the captains bunker to the right of the green

It takes 2 good hits to get up in regulation so if you have a shot or 2 on the hole then use them wisely
